Finland M/22 light tunic type shirt.
After Finland gained Independence in 1918 the Finnish Army developed some new clothing for the Army. In 1922 a series of new uniforms were developed. A tab fronted shirt type tunic developed, for general service wear. Then again in 1932 this item was revised and this m/32 tunic was developed, and worn throughout WW2.
This tunic had a stand and fall collar, with sewn in shoulder straps, which buttoned at the point near the collar. There were two flap pockets with a pointed flap, buttoned down with metal Finnish buttons. The front buttoned flap, was a covered fly. This summer weight
tunic was made of a grey flecked material, and
collar badges were worn on the collars, showing rank and arm of service.
