Frank Stanley HAINES, was a stretcher bearer in the 32nd Battalion of the Australian Imperial Forces during World War 1. His regimental number was 5704, and he was attatched to 'B' Company of the 32nd Battalion. He survived the War.

He is wearing a late war pattern tunic, which differs slightly from earlier tunics by the ommission of the belt buckle at the front of the tunic. These tunics seem to be made mainly by British Government contractors. He is wearing the colour patch of his regiment on his upper sleeves, as well as 'Australia" titles on the shoulder straps, and Australian rising sun collar badges. Just visible are three overseas service service chevrons on his lower right sleeve. The buttons on the tunic appear to be metal.
