Scottish
Seaforth
Tunic, 1890

This is an officer's tunic of the Seaforth Highland Regiment. The jacket is often seen in photographs of Seaforth soldiers in the 1890s. It was normally worn when the kilt was not, that is, when trousers (trews) were worn. It is mainly seen worn by Officers and men alike when riding horses.
