New South
Wales
Scottish
1880's

This tunic is from a Scottish unit, in the colony of New South Wales, before the Federation of the Australian States, 1901. The buttons on this tunic represent its use before and after Federation. It was also used after 1900 as there is a mixture Queens (Queen Victoria) Crown buttons and King's Crown buttons. There were no collar badges worn, but it did have shoulder titles, which are now, unfortunately missing .
